You must be 18 or older, or 21 or older where your state or the site requires it, to gamble. Each site sets its own minimum age, so check it before you register. Crypto Casinos is not intended for anyone under the legal age.

If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, call the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER. It is free and confidential.

This page covers responsible gambling for people who play with cryptocurrency. It explains the risks specific to crypto, what offshore sites may not offer, and how to set limits you can keep. Gambling is entertainment that costs money. It is not income, and it is not a fix for money problems.

The legal grey area, stated plainly

There is no federal legalization of online casinos in the US. Regulated online casino gaming exists only in a handful of states, such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island. Those licensed operators do not run on crypto.

The crypto casinos we review are offshore. They hold licenses in places like Curaçao or Anjouan, not from a US regulator. That puts play from the US in a legal grey area, and it varies by state. Some sites also restrict certain states. Check your own state's laws and each site's terms before you play. For anything legal or tax-related, consult a qualified professional.

What offshore sites may not give you

State-regulated operators must provide tools such as self-exclusion and have a US regulator to complain to. Offshore sites may not offer the same protections. Self-exclusion may be limited or work only on that one site. Dispute routes may be thin. Do not assume a tool exists. Look for it in the account settings or ask support before you deposit, and keep the answer.

Our Terms and Conditions explain how this site works. Operator terms are separate, so read them yourself.

Crypto-specific risks to plan for

  • Price volatility. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin can move sharply in hours. A balance can fall in dollar terms even if you never lose a bet. It can also be worth less when you withdraw.
  • Stablecoins reduce price swings, not gambling losses. Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) track the dollar, which makes budgeting easier. They do not change the house edge.
  • Irreversible transactions. On-chain deposits cannot be recalled. Check the address and network before sending, and remember network fees and confirmation times apply.
  • Fast deposits feel like less money. Instant top-ups from a wallet can make spending easy. Add friction on purpose, for example by funding from a separate wallet with a fixed amount.
  • Pseudonymity is not a safety net. No-KYC or low-verification play does not reduce risk. Sites may still ask for verification, for example before large withdrawals. Do not use anonymity to hide income, avoid taxes or move funds improperly.
  • Tax. US players may owe tax on gambling winnings and on crypto gains. Speak to a tax professional.

Set limits before you play

  1. Decide a budget in dollars from money you can afford to lose. Do not use rent, bills, savings or borrowed money.
  2. Convert it to a fixed crypto amount and send only that. Do not top up mid-session.
  3. Set a time limit and use a phone alarm if the site has no reality checks.
  4. Use any deposit, loss or session limits the site offers. If it has none, your own wallet discipline is the limit.
  5. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) so nobody else can access your account or funds.
  6. Treat a withdrawal of profit as a result worth keeping, not a stake to replay.

Bonuses and cashback need extra care

Many offers come with wagering requirements, time limits, game restrictions and maximum bet or withdrawal caps. Rakeback and cashback can look like a cushion. They return only part of what you wagered, and only on terms the site sets. They do not make losing less likely. Never deposit more to meet a requirement or chase a bonus. Read the full terms on the operator's site, and skip any offer whose conditions you cannot meet comfortably.

The offers below are advertised by the operators and not verified by us in play. Terms can change, so check the current conditions.

Other sites we list, including Winna, Thrill, Hyperlucky, Cybet and Wild.io, advertise cashback, rakeback or match offers. The same checks apply. A larger headline figure usually means a larger amount you must wager, and a larger sum at risk.

Responsible gambling tools to look for

We have not tested the account tools at these sites, and availability differs between operators. Before depositing at any of them, ask or look for:

  • Deposit, loss and session limits
  • Cooling-off periods and self-exclusion, and whether they are permanent or reversible
  • Reality checks and account activity history
  • Clear, responsive customer support
  • 2FA and withdrawal address controls

If a site offers none of these, set stricter limits yourself or choose not to play there.

VPN use and site terms

Operators set rules about where players may be located, and many restrict certain states. Using a VPN or false details to get around a restriction can break the site's terms and may put your account or funds at risk. We do not recommend evading geoblocks, verification or anti-money-laundering checks. If a site is not available in your state, treat that as the answer.

Warning signs to take seriously

  • Betting more than you planned, or for longer
  • Chasing losses or depositing again to win back money
  • Borrowing, or using money meant for essentials
  • Hiding play from family or friends
  • Gambling to escape stress, low mood or other problems
  • Checking prices and balances constantly, or moving coins mainly to keep playing

If any of these sound familiar, stop playing, withdraw what remains, and talk to someone.

Where to get help

  • National Problem Gambling Helpline: 1-800-GAMBLER – free, confidential support for you or someone close to you.
  • Your own state's problem gambling resources – many states run their own services. Search your state's name with "problem gambling."
  • Blocking tools – your bank, device or browser settings can block gambling sites, which matters when a site offers no self-exclusion.
